I was just looking something up in the german english dictionary dict.cc
and I found something rather amusing:

The idiom "Down but not out" was translated in German as "We haven't lost Poland yet".

I really couldn't stop laughing.

Manno manno bin ich froh dass der jameth nicht gewonnen hat. Sein Scheißprogramm war gräßlich, der arrogante... "ach ich bin einfach so beliebt, ich habe so viele Stimmen schon bekommen, ich habe es nur getan weil mich alle darum gebeten haben und weil ich so nett und großzügig bin. *Herzchen, zwinker zwinker* Ich verlange von euch dass ihr mich wählt. Mehrmals. Spamt mich nach vorne!"
Ich weiß eben gar nichts über Internetpolitik, aber den hätte ich nie gewählt. Leider kann man beim Wählen keine negativen Stimmen abgeben. Na, aber ich konnte eh nicht mitmachen weil mein Account viel zu neu ist.

Schau dir das kleine Bildchen an, das habe ich gefunden von der Burg...
Und um das zu sehen muss ich nur aus dem Haus raus...
Da vermisst man Berlin nicht mehr.

Today we opened all the windows and blasted the song "die Partei hat immer Recht," just
to promote our socialistic side. When the neighbors came and asked politely what the hell was going on,
I told them we were having a Links party. Then I played the национальный гимн России, just to top it off.

As I found a richly endowed source of 'running water' and 'bird song' sound clips, another idea crossed my mind about fooling the neighbors. (Who by the way, have a very lovely koi pond...)
